Default 951 Article In Hemmings Sports & Exotic Car Magazine

There is a nice Buyers Guide write up in the latest Hemmings Sports & Exotic Mag, just delivered to my house. They gave the car pretty high marks on all the major categories including body, engine, trans, interior , etc. Alot of other cars of this vintage that they cover have more issues that they warn about.

What I thought was in error was that the magazine stated one can find pristine cars with full records and 65k miles for only "two thousand dollars on either side of $ 8k". That seems way off for the good cars out there.

Anyway, its an interesting read; though not all that infomative for current owners, it does shed good light on the 951 for perspective buyers.

Thanks. I love the SC, its a TOTALLY different drive than the other two especially with the suspension upgrades I've done.

At what miles did your 951 spin a rod bearing? I have 74k miles on mine and was planning on doing the bearings at 100k but that is about 13 years away at the current rate I drive it!
