Can someone confirm which model yellow top optima?
I am looking at purchasing a yellow top from the group buy, as from the archives people seem to have better luck with the yellow then the red top.
Can someone confirm which model fits in their 944.
Thanks
Steve

Steve,
I could get pretty good prices on the Optima batteries. Were are you planning to install it?
It won't fit in your normal battery compartment. I actally went with the optima Red and have it mounted behind the passager front seat. Please note I have the rear seat delete. When you decide what model let me know and I will get the pricing for you.

I read that the yellow D35 fits and that there are pics of red tops fitting in original positions. Based on memory of complaints D35 yellow is best suited

Thanks for the replies,
I checked w/ Optima CS, and if using aftermarket acc or will not be driven daily, they reccomended the yellow top. Size of the D35 YT was the same as the 35 RT, so I went with it.
Also I had seen alot of people w/ problems w. the RT, I am assuming the fact that might not have been driven daily. Some seemed to have gone through 5 or more. basically yearly.
