Default Valve wear question

Just heard from the machine shop rebuilding my head, and I need four intake valves because the stems are all worn. Is this uneven wear typical or indicative of another issue?

What do you mean by "uneven"? Yes, it's normal, the stems wear...as do the guides and stem seals.

Sorry. 80k on car. I mean uneven re. exhaust vs. intake valves i.e. why do the intake valves show wear when the exhaust valves are nice?
