Default Troubleshooting turbo coolant pump

My coolant pump will not run after shutting off the engine, or any time at all. However I know it does work because if you hook 12 volts to it it runs fine. All the fuses are good and the relay does not look burnt up or anything. Any ideas where to look?

My pump started making lots of grinding noises recently. I had it replaced, but the mechanic did say that the electrical connections are very brittle, so i would check here first.

Replace the temperature sensor near the blow-off valve.

I am new to the 951, what is, and where is the blow off valve? Is this another name for wastegate?

recirculation valve, between the charge pipe leading up to the throttle body and the J pipe between the air flow meter and turbo...

round canister on the front right side of the engine bay, has a vacuum line attached to it.

coolant thermostat is to the inboard side of the turbo, in the coolant pipe attached to the turbo... just below and inboard of the throttle body... has a single wire connected to it.
