what DME chip are you using?

I've got an old, old APE one, which i hear runs really lean at high rpm. I need an AFR gauge... I'm somewhat scared to drive it hard after hearing everyone here say APE runs "dangerously lean"

Those runs were with Russell's "booster" chip. I want to point out that it seems my AFR sensor (tail pipe sniffer) reads on the lean side - so take that part of the charts with a grain of salt.
