Here is the torque wrench I use - I don't have a clue what the reviewers are bitching about, mine is several years old and works flawlessly.

It shows the actual torque as it increases, it beeps at 90% of the torque as an ‘early warning’ and it records the max torque.

Beats the crap out of a beam or clicker…!
