I am searching for a new turbo for my freshly built 2.5L.. I have decided to go with the TO4E .56trim with a .63ar (GT3071). I understand the extreme nature of mounting this turbo and the custom mods that need to be done. the question that I have is does anyone know of a vendor that sells the Garrett to stock turbo mount adaptor?
Anyway, just though it might be beneficial to some users looking at new turbos or just needing some calculations here is a website.![bigbye](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/xyxwave.gif)

You mean the drain flange adaptor that atpturbo sell?
You using the 2.75 or the 4" inlet? Think the 4" is probably worth the trouble from my experience.

4" inlet, I have converted to the Nissan alt and no A/C, custom intake etc... Also running it on a full standalone system. Forgot to mention I doing a ported (anit-surge) housing.
I have looked on atpturbo but did not see it, would you happen to have the link handy?

As others have said the tial mount avoids a lot of grinding.
The GT3071R is a good starting point.

It is a good responsive turbo, pulls all the way, but a lot of people want numbers, but it is no big deal to upgrade a 3071 later.

Do the math on the 3076 too (which I'm guessing you have anyway). Obviously it's dependent on what you want from your car and also what conditions you drive in. My guess would be that if you want a good responsive more street oriented car then the 3071 would possibly be more useful. If you want a more track oriented car, then look at the '76. Just an opinion of course.
Oh, and from what I remember and see in your signature, you're going to run E85. With that you'll be tempted to use more boost and this would head me more towards the larger turbo.
Rod's car goes well at the track too btw. His is the white one, Sean's / JET951 is the black one. The position on the track doesn't reflect their position in the event. It's timed. Both Rod (GT3071) and Sean (VR s3) were doing very similar times on that day from memory.
