Default MAF Clocking...

I know that most people here clock their MAF at 10 or 12 o clock with pop ups, what is the ideal setting if you don't have pop ups?

It's more of a try and see what position it runs the best in. There isn't an ideal/universal position..it's kind of a try and see what works best situation on each individuals car.

It's the ones that have the hot wire past the bend that need clocking, I know the older LR MAF II does, and yes, that works best at 10-11 o'clock, street or track.

my old street car

track car, LR III, Maf at 12 due to it being in the straight of the pipe.

Sure...we are going back to "pick up" some things that we ran, since it's dead and only 1 of the two that we deployed were used. check later or tomorrow, doing a voyage plan to go to stand by location after I finish ***** off.

Post a pic and then we could tell you better.

If a bend after, like Brett said, then you would want to be at 9-10 as that is the highest air flow on the bend.

Why are you asking about clocking it? Is it not working well? Which MAF is it?

When clocking helps, its almost always a trial and error thing -- keep rotating until you find it's sweet spot.

It is working fine, but I wanted to have it perfect, so therefore I thought I'd ask, just to make sure, I never noticed a difference when rotating it...
