Anyone Pass Emissions in Santa Clara County,CA with MAF???
Hi, looking for anyone who has passed emissions here in Santa Clara County with a MAF system. Please post or PM if you know the secrets and procedures. Thanks!

Most shops that I've seen fails the visual inspection with that setup. I've heard of others in the past actually pass the visual with that setup but they did not disclose the location of the shop.

Ask for a 'pre-check' before they enter the car in 'the system'. Tell them you'd like to know of anything that would keep it from passing before they start the actual CA test, so that you can remedy the situation before putting your car on the gross polluter list. It'll still cost a few bucks, but it will also let you know what you're up against at a given shop.

No issues or questions, last test the guy wanted to fail me for not being able to inspect the charcoal canister. MAF is Vitesse, sticker removed and connected to stock airbox. Doubt it made a difference as I have seen him pass cars with cone airfilters on and my blue LR fuel rail screams hey look at me.
