Default Headlight adjustment - how to?

My headlights are not sitting quite right in the car.

This picture shows what i mean (i hope).

I took some advice from the UK forums, but i still don't understand how to adjust this.

I have been told to loosen off two bolts and move the connecting rod between the lights fore and aft to lift them in the aperture.

and a closer look

So is it correct that i slacken the two black bolt heads and move the head light forward and backwards to increase its height in the nose panel?

You want to loosen the two rusted bolts on the black angle bracket. See how its holes are slotted? That will let you slide the black bracket forward, which will fix your droopy headlight. You will need a 10 mm socket for those two bolts. And its easiest to do it with the headlights down/closed.

It's a pain to get right... My fix was just to roll up some duct tape and take off the cover plate stick it under and once it was level enough screw it back down on the sides and be done with it
