Default The Bastard, just checking

Does anyone know this car? Yeah, I'm probably going to bid on it, I told myself I wasn't going to until I finished my upgrade but I'm seriously watching this. I know Albert does good work, DE'd with a couple of his engines/cars in TX...anyway, just wondering if anyone here knew it, was bidding on it or looking hard it, of which then I'll stay away. The urge is killing me to get back into one but I wanted to wait until next year but this seems like some decent mods, room for more hp, good candidate for a 3.0 in the future, or my 2.8L components in there. Front splitter, small NACA ducts in the hood...seats look well done and the dash was also recovered. RH wheels, but the spring choice for the street is sort of Hard to figure.

350 HP with a stock turbo?

Interesting... pretty decent deal...

but claims are a little far fetched... that would be 300+ RWHP... on a 26-6.... even with a 26-8 it is a stretch...

for the price, DO IT...

yeh you get the extra power from the abandon of that silly Physics stuff and putting the air filter behind the inter-cooler... amazing a car can be so nice and still have such a feature ...to me screams incompetence I would worry the thing was going to fly to bits.
dang its such a nice car ..

Broadfoot built the engine and I guess did the tranny swap, etc. Not a big deal, I did a lot more with the track car. I think they claimed 320, no dyno, but hell, I knew that, been around too long for that. Just curious, I would be a cash only after some drives. Got a buddy in Jacksonville, might get him to go look at it if it's available.

Not you E!!! Just the engine swap AND the #$%#$ that got my AMEX number some how while I was in Miami this weekend. I mean I bought one thing for my son. AMEX just called my with 4 charges, fraud alert, and while we were on the phone (card cancelled immediately) they tried 4 more charges!! Now I have to CHANGE: XM, ATT cell, house alarm, cable, i Tunes, just off the top of my head that I have charged to my card monthly. Go AMEX fraud division.

I believe the car is listed for 23k on the broadfoot site. Nice looking car..... 15k would be more like it though.

yeah, I was thinking 12-16 on evilbay, just depends on who has the extra $$ these days. I would probably sell that motor and do the 2.8, since we have 3 blocks lying around and the new 2.8 stuff in my garage cabinet that I never sold.

I didn't think me, but I just figured out what you meant. I live here in Jax as well, if I can help. Gotta love AMEX. There's a reason they have so many loyal card holders.

Broadfoot Racing have the rep for being a bit 'elusive' at best. I like some of their bodywork stuff from the pics.
Wonder on the GTS kit they still advertise.

Albert is a bit of a recluse. He builds good engines and has a very good local record for reliability, but he is not a parts guy. Yes, he sells them, but he has no time nor patients for that stuff. It helps to keep the doors open. If you can get him, AND once he ships it out(meaning when his wife calls you back and ships it out) you will get a solid product.
He's not a bid guy, he just is very unusual.

I'd contact the seller if interested, alot of the deals don't go through, distance, buyer's remorse, can't get the money, etc. Looks real nice though.
