Default Test fitted the CCW's I just bought!

These are the 18" CCW's I asked about in a previous post. Mounted them up late last night and made a short drive since the left front tire is showing cord. No rubbing..feels great! They have race rubber now and the rear tires are still in great shape. I will plan to buy some new race rubber for the front...eventually.

My primary goal is the street so i have ordered a set of Hankook Ventus V12's in 285/30/zr18 and 245/35/zr18's.

Love the look...completely changed the cars look!

I can't wait

Thumbs up

I put my sixteen year old to work last night cleaning, polishing, polishing, cleaning....

Plus that gave me an opportunity for a very close inspection. Two thumbs up

Cool - I have the same rims

The Mothers powerball hooked up to a drill works really well for polishing those lips.

great...funny thing is I was just wondering about the powerball this morning! I used some Never Dull that I had in the garage. Also dusted a little paint on the rear hub flanges and front dust cover (need to order one for the passenger side).

Works MUCH faster than NEVR DULL. I started off with that stuff too at the suggestion of a friend of mine. It works well but takes FOREVER.

The power ball and the accompanying Mothers polish works really well and it's MUCH faster. You can do all 4 rims with the ball in the time it takes to do half of one with the NEVR DULL and IMO get better results. I figured since it was a) a Mothers product and b) something they sell at Wal-Mart, it wasn't very good... but I was really impressed with the results. Lips came out like mirrors.

Only tricky part is trying not to destroy the ball with the bolt heads sticking out. Mine got chewed up a little bit.
