FS: Set of Koni Yellow Shocks/Struts for 86+ 951
Full set of Koni Yellow shocks and struts (model 8741-1136 Sport front, 8040-1035 Sport rear). These are the single adjustable (for rebound) shocks and struts that are similar to the m474 option.
Fits all 944 turbos. These have 60k miles on them and were installed new on my ’87 turbo when the original Sachs units wore out. They are in great condition and function perfectly; selling because I upgraded to KW Variant 3 coilovers.
If you’re still running flaccid stock Sachs/Boge struts and shocks, these are a titanic improvement. Includes bump stops and dust boots. I’d install fresh bump stops because they’re made out of foam, but the ones on there are perfectly usable.
SOLD

They do have a lifetime warranty "against defects in materials and workmanship and against wear out for as long as you own that car registered for street use." Here's a link to the current Koni tech manual that explains the shocks, warranty, etc. --> http://www.koni-na.com/pdf/tech.pdf
Nothing really lasts forever, but they should have a long life ahead of them. Technically, the warranty on this set would not be usable since one needs the original receipt for the units and a current registration for a 944 in the name of the original purchaser. These were purchased by the PO for my car and professionally installed. I have the receipt, but he no longer owns a 944.
There is also a rebuild service offered by Koni and a couple of authorized companies. I don't know exactly what the current charge is, but it's likely somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 per shock/strut.
