Default boost problem

Not to mention the starter problem I'm having; before my starter went bad, I was driving on the cross island pkwy, and I started to accelerate in third gear. I suddenly heard a noticeable discharge of air from what it sounded like either under the hood or under the car. After that the turbo would spool up until about 2K rpm and after that no boost. I checked my boost gauge, and it was completely dead. No reading whatsoever. After that air discharge, the boost gauge when to default position, as if I turned off the car.

I checked to see if any vacuum lines were disconnected around or on the wastegate or in the motor, and I didn't see anything. Has my wastegate gone bad? Up until that moment it was working fine.

The 951 is giving me real problems these days.....

Check all of your intercooler couplers are still seated on the pipes. Also check none of them are split open.

I have a few spares if any of yours end up being ripped.

Check the turbo discharge hose as well, both ends.

is the vacuum going to the klr still good. Those get rock solid and will break. That line is for the stock boost gauge.
