seller states that the panels are mint, and to me they look it; the speakers on the other hand are f*ckt - of course one could argue that panels with non stock speaker cut outs can no longer be "mint" even if the remaining materials are in good shape

My Snell speakers cost as much as many entry level 951's. They sound as new with the tweet covers back to round.
You can't imagine how mad I would get watching my 2 year old push in those rear tweeters. Still love the kids, and nothing was permanently harmed.
Those speakers look like they were exposed to kids sitting in the back seat. Those tweets are not blown, just pushed in by a probably finger.

My kids used to push in the rear tweeter of my Snell Reference room towers. I'd pull it ut with Gorolla tape, and they would do it again. I finally made a small cage around them. This looks like the same things happened. Put some tape lightly on the tweet and pull fast. It should come out and be round again.

But, with free shipping who doesn't want those big, obtrusive things? This guy's installation is only slightly less gnarly.

What are you guys talking about? The speaker is obviously upgraded. Cone crushing makes the speakers more aerodynamic and removing those useless surrounds increases excursion. Come on guys do some research.
