i love explaining logic and reason to people who have cup holders. You shouldn't be tempted to ever have a drink in car. You should stop take it out drink it, then drive again. Same goes for the cell phone, your cd changer or player.

I eat and drink in my car all the time DrinkingCup holder who needs that just jam your coke behind the handbrake and in front of the lower seat belt mount. And if you drive like you should on public roads you can do that with the coffee as well
