sway bar bushing issue

I need to replace one of my sway bar bushings up front - I measured the bar with calipers and it is 22mm. But the bushings I have on there are "477.411.053K" which according to paragon is for a 24mm sway bar. I'm pretty confident in my measurements, and they list a different part number for 21.5mm sway bars which go through the 86 models. Should I just order the 21.5mm bushing and assume the PO installed the wrong size?

How does the "good" bushing on the other side look? Just me, but I'd order the 24mm. If its wrong, 6 bucks is the cheapest "mistake" you'll make on this car.

well, the bushings that are on there now are actually $31 each, not 6. if I went with the ones that match my measurements, they would be $17 each. I intend to order both, I just didn't know if there was any known mix-up between the part numbers and sway bar measurements.

$62 seems a bit much for the part number of the bushings that are on the car now.

I forgot...the 21.5 bushing is the same price. I'm betting thats what you need. The car has one of 3 possibilities:
1. 21.5 solid
2. 24 hollow
3. Bobs House of Swaybars custom 22 :-)

you're never going to believe this, but I just double checked the sway bar thickness and it's actually 24mm. I was using some cheap brass calipers to measure before, and apparently they didn't bother to mark the scale to correct size..
