Default S2 / late Euro turbo wing - fitment question

So I finally managed to source a very nice set of S2 wing pieces that are now at the painters to get a few coats of satin black. I'm going to have my original hatch resealed & painted as some slight separation has started - so I'd like to get these installed at the same time.

My question is: i have the 3 rubber seals that sit between the glass and the side pieces & lower rear piece, though I'm curious to know if there are any lower seals required?

My car is a 1988, so I'm hoping the the S2 wing pieces will be a straight "bolt on" & use the same lower seal that runs around the bottom of the hatch.

I did search, but if anyone knows of a good write up on the full procedure, please post a link.

Thanks all

I can't help here, but I'm wondering why you aren't painting the wing section to match the body?

Simple - I prefer it black. Looked at MANY photos & I'm just not a fan of the 2-tone rear spoiler. If I change my mind, then it's an easy fix.

Anyone have a parts diagram??

Cool. Just wondering. I would have the same debate with myself.
\Your best bet for a diagram may be the PET page that shows the IPD. I don't know of anyother. I did a search for you as well and got nada.

Here, www.clarks-garage.com/shop-manual/968.pdf, on page 166. Notice the tabs on the frame's back middle section. I believe people have fabricated their own when using a 944 frame.

Jason,

I appreciate the link, but I know that the 968 rear spoiler is different from the S2 one that I have.

Elliot - thanks, i will search for the PET.
