Default 1999-2001 996 rims on an 87 951?

Looking at some 17X7 front and 17X9 rear rims as pictured, they are apparently from a 996. Will these fit my 87 951 without spacers? Does anyone have any pictures of these installed so I can see what they look like? 16" tires are getting hard to find, so I'm thinking of going to 17" soon.

I have them on my '87 951 with no spacers. They fit pretty nice and compliment the 944 look.

Thanks for the pics Dillon! I agree, looks good, and for the price the local seller is asking, its going to be hard for me to pass up.

Hey Chrenan,

I have a set of those in 17X9 you can try on before you buy if you are interested. They should fit your car no problem in the back. My 17X9 might be tight in front.

I run 17x9 Cup 2's with 275-40-17 race tires all the way round and they fit fine...

I have smaller front springs and factory rolled fenders. I wouldn't want to say for sure if it rubs or not on a stock car. (I bet it would be fine though)
