Default Can faulty stock AFM cause a lean condition?

For full load, as long as the DME/KLR are getting and identifying a full throttle signal from the TPS, the DME uses the full load fuel maps and there is no input from the AFM?

So an improper adjustment, or an incorrect air flow measurement from a faulty AFM would not cause a lean condition?

yes, you can have a faulty temp sensor and the copper band, on which the resistance arm rides, can become worn, which will offer poor electrical resistance; which signals/drives the fuel/injectors

Offhand, is trouble shooting / diagnostic testing for that shown in the factor turbo manual?

If I recall, there is a resistance spec on the temp sensor part (that little white cone inside the AFM).
