I am about to do the same to my car but with an older MAF2. Are you going to run the Power Perfect or Mafterburner softwear? I just got the turbo and 3 piece crossmember in the mail today!

For now I am just tuning the from the MAF. I will be using power perfect eventually lol. I would take my car to a dyno, but I live in the corner of podunt, so I dont have any closer than 2 hours away. Plus, I'm broke.

Ok, good to know. You seem to be pretty knowledgeable about tuning. I have a problem. Got the MAF hooked up, and uploaded the DBX file suggested by lindsey racing. The car idles fine, but when i give it throttle, the car dies. Is it just a rich/lean problem that requires tuning, or what? I'm stumped.

Sounds like the configuration file is incorrect for your setup. I would double check that you have the DBX file for your setup (mainly for your chip/injectors).

I have been following this thread and I am new to the 951. I am curious about the MAF conversion/upgrade.
Since I am still running the stock turbo and have excellent driveability I'm not sure there is any real performance gain. I figure I am running out of air anyway at 16-18psi boost with the stock turbo? Not complaining...the car runs really hard!
I do have 3" exhaust and test pipe, a K&N drop in, chipset, etc.

Yes they do. mine pulls nasty when it runs lol. I haven't had this car working right for about six months now. My dad fried a DME, and it all snowballed from there...think twice before upgrading your turbo and injectors lol.

So far I've only been working on reliability and detail items! However, the boost is turned up!
Oh...and I caught my buddy with his pants (or boost) down in his highly modified GN, and walked away froma rolling start!
