Fog lights question
There are two lights in each fog light, but only the outer light seems to comes light up -- when does the entire fog light light up? I never really noticed that until today.

If it's euro fogs then low beams and high beams. For me pulling the high beams lever in lights both high beams on headlights and euro fogs but if you push outward only the headlight high beams come on and this is because the euro fogs would overheat.

ROW units have a false reflector in the inboard side of each foglight housing, Euro fogs have 2 reflectors with 2 bulbs per housing..
Hence the popularity of the euro fog conversion (yes I have done this)... it can be done bolt in or can be done more than bolt in..

I did my own wiring with a seperate switch and seperate relay for the 100W spots in the euro housings..

Actually, there are 3 bulb housings for the Euro fog light set up.
The additional bulb is in the fog light housing. It's a tiny bulb that's turned on by the first position of the headlamp on/off ****. It's commonly called the "daytime running light" or "park light".

Correct! The US spec use a two filament front turning signal lamp and the ROW or Euro spec only have a single filament turn signal lamp = turn only, not marker.
