I just got back from Watkins Glen with the RV – its fun to drive that thing every now and then. The same putz that pulls out in front of your 951 will do the same with a 35’ diesel rig coming, the difference is when I fill up his mirrors with the large rig they really notice it and get the hell out of the way!

Tourist dorks in BMW SUVs….

BTW – club race was great…lots of good cars!

Left lane rolling road blocks!

That is where I take my knowledge and feel of my car and can pass them safely, but put my rear bumper about 2 inches in front of their front bumper and then pull away. This usally gets their attention and they move over.

I call it "buzzing the idiot"

A Torontonian with a 6 mile commute? What a rare specimen. My commute is around 25km. Usually it takes 25 minutes, but being at the mercy of the Toronto highway system, it sometimes takes an hour. I've done it in 10 minutes with the 951.

But they do hold up much beter to collisions with SUVs!

And FWIW, my daily commute is 70ish miles one way.. usually takes an hour or so, but I have been known to shorten it once or twice!

Only in Miami do I drive around with a partial cage, fixed-back Sparcos, and 6-points...and still constantly think "I'm going to be killed...I'm going to be killed" while nervously glancing all around me watching for wayward Escalades...

Sadly the epidemic of distracted SUV drivers reaches far beyond Miami. One of the closes calls I've had with my 951 was when a lady on her cellphone almost hit me with a GMC Yukon.

Just passed thru Salt Lake City at rush hour, what a hairball. Reminded me of Wilderbeasts crossing an African river, with the crocs [cops] just waiting for one to fall out of the melee.

You need to come and visit. This is just below Greer, AZ. Deserted perfect roads. Your V1 or Passports work for MILES and MILES.

So true.
I have a 30km each way trip into work, usually takes 30 minutes or so, with traffic sometimes an hour and a half. I've done it in 14 in the 944...

Gotta love the QEW
