To add fuel, I cheated. I ran the E85 map +25% fuel. That should really richen things up. Well, that it did. It is so rich that at idle it kills the engine when warm. Strange, but I logged the run with the piggy back and even under mild boost, the piggy back was showing 14.7:1.

I think right now, I am basically shooting in the dark. I probably need to get a wideband. I will go check the DME #2 and #3.

Oh yes, running E85 on pump gas will flood the engine. When looking at the PB, do not look at the O2 AFR, instead look at the O2 voltage. You should see 0.88 to 0.9V under load. (assuming your O2 sensor is functioning).

If running the E85 maps with pump gas, under boost, you should see lots of dark black smoke (unburnt fuel) behind your car.

A Wideband system makes sense. I love using the Zeitronix add the complex alarms interface to the V-FLEX which can save the engine in no time.

Looking at your log, I don't see a ground issue. Of course, it's easy to test. Besides, "most" ground issues cause rich running engine.

If you changed the injectors loom, any possibility that a injector(s) is not firing? I would think you will have odd running engine if one of the injectors is not firing properly.. A long shot, but something to keep in mind if nothing else shows.

If you want to use the E85 maps for testing the AFRs. You can run the pump gas maps for idle, cruising, then when you want to go WOT/BOOST, flip the E85 switch.. You get instant +x% fuel. Keep the boost down, the E85 ignition will be active when running E85 maps, not pump gas friendly.

Will check DME temp sensor once engine cools down. The other thing is maybe I could just take the hood emblem off, move the car out of the garage, move a corvette in, and stick the hood emblem on the vette....just frustrated.

Have you checked for a leak in the intake system? I left a hose off just after the MAF once that caused mine to lean out. My 2 cents

Just went out an checked that. Nothing leaking.

Measured DME temp senor. 832ohms with an engine that is probably 110F and it was about 500ohms when the engine was hotter. Seems to be working just fine.

On strange thing I found is that the input voltage to the TPS is shwoing 6.7V and should be "about" 5V per the factory manual. I am not sure what "about" 5V is. and why the voltage would be 6.71V.

I have a fuel pressure gauge that mounts to the front of the rail. If you pay for shipping you can borrow it free. It may help to see what is going on that end.

Switched teh Authority KLR chip for the stcok. Now the car absolutely doesnt run worth a damn. It just bucks back and forth.

This thing has me beyond pissed today. I think I better leave it alone for a while. The next tool will be an 8lb sledgehammer.

Put the chip you removed back in. Maybe the chip you put in it is bad!

Put the old chip back in. That is when I was pushing the car.
