Does anyone have Keith Foster's 968 door handle DIY saved? The 951motorsport site seems to be down...

Nick, the standard handles 968 handles are mechanically identical. You can use the write up on Clarks.

I ran into the same problem a couple weeks ago. I was planning on doing my handles and couldn't find the site. Somebody has it stored here:

Going from memory:
Take off the outside screw near the door latch.
Remove the door panel.
Remove the rear window channel.
Pop off the little white or black ball fittings.
Unplug lock switch if equiped(on yours it is).
Pull the handle out.
Swap lock cylinders.
Put the new ones in the same way.
I'll call you back in ten minutes or so.

Remove the rear window channel.
Remove the rear window channel.
I found it a lot easier to just cave in and take everything out to have a clear path to reconnect all the linkages.

While it is entirely possible to do without power locks and possible to do without removing the window channel even with power locks, it's WAY faster and easier to get the ball clip back on with the window channel out.
I've done it both ways and greatly prefer to remove what's in the way rather than prying awkwardly with a long screw driver through little holes in the door.

Just the rear channel comes out. Remove the felt/rubber window guide seal and there's two bolts to remove. One on top(IIRC) and one on bottom to take the channel out.
