Default How many teeth on the timing belt?

If I had a choice between a timing belt with 117 teeth, and one with 110 teeth, which would you tell me to get?

Go buy a "regular" timing belt and count the teeth. Im not sure anyone has counted the teeth on a belt

I'm not sure you can get a 110 for the timing belt. Its a 117. Balance shafts need 110. If your supplier doesn't know the difference it'll be obvious when you attempt to install it.

I would say it all depends on how far you stick it in our mouth...

Yeah, it's not going to be difficult to tell the timing belt form the balance shaft belt. I had a hunch it is the 117 tooth belt. Do 16 valve cars use different belts?
