Hate to do this to myself...
I found summer tires in Oem sizes.
225 50 16. Dunlop direzza at tirerack
245 45 16 sumitomo htrz at tireseasy.
Both tires are ranked 16 and 17 in tirerack, so identical performance. Obviously test on your own car and tune according.
Also, primewell has all 4 in Oem
sizes, I believe they are firestone.
Have not tried but they will be next.
You are welcome rt...

Read about them each on tire rack and look at the testing #s. I also said tune it accordingly for your car. I plan on tracking and autox. Anyone who runs one of these cars has to know the caveats, and I even mentioned it in my original post.

I know a guy who runs 225/50/16 on all four corners and says the car still handles very well. That size is more readily available and probably will continue to be than the 245/45/16. Obviously not the best scenerio for track use, but around town it should be just fine.
A set of Star Specs or other decent tire in that size on all four wheels should work well, No?
Opinions?

Eddie, what tyres are they mate?
I'm running T1Rs. Yours look like they're semi slicks.
Edit: i seen they're RA1s. I looked them up and F*** me. tread wear is 100. That's so low. They wont last you at all. well may be you if you drive the car But they wont last me. Mine are 290 which isn't bad. ~300 is good for a 'sports' tyre.
