Hate to do this to myself...

I found summer tires in Oem sizes.

225 50 16. Dunlop direzza at tirerack
245 45 16 sumitomo htrz at tireseasy.

Both tires are ranked 16 and 17 in tirerack, so identical performance. Obviously test on your own car and tune according.

Also, primewell has all 4 in Oem
sizes, I believe they are firestone.
Have not tried but they will be next.

You are welcome rt...

FWIW. I wouldn't recommend running two different tires front and rear. It's not as bad as two brands left and right, but you could negatively change the braking and cornering characteristics and predictability of the car with mixed rubber compounds.

Read about them each on tire rack and look at the testing #s. I also said tune it accordingly for your car. I plan on tracking and autox. Anyone who runs one of these cars has to know the caveats, and I even mentioned it in my original post.

A set of Star Specs or other decent tire in that size on all four wheels should work well, No?

Opinions?
I ALWAYS ran that size on my 8" phone dials. I like to run my tires square. STILL, 16's are getting tough to get, at a reasonable price, compared to larger tires.

Hate to do this to myself, but TireRack has the Fuzion ZRi back in stock. Made Middle of 2011, but they said they have enough to get through summer. I doubt it!

They also have Bridgestone Potenza RE11s in 245/45-16, but I think they are almost out of them.

Eddie, what tyres are they mate?

I'm running T1Rs. Yours look like they're semi slicks.

Edit: i seen they're RA1s. I looked them up and F*** me. tread wear is 100. That's so low. They wont last you at all. well may be you if you drive the car But they wont last me. Mine are 290 which isn't bad. ~300 is good for a 'sports' tyre.
