Default Rebuilt Wastegates FS

Feeler for rebuilt Wastegates...

I have rebuilt a number of wastegates for my personal use and will now be selling 4 or so. The spring has been replaced with a stiffer one and they bench test at 15 PSI.

I don't have any dyno #'s but on my car (basically stock '87 944T with Lindsey boost enhancer) it made a significant difference.

If interested PM me and I will send you a complete write-up of what was done with pictures in word document form.

Looking for $185.00 plus 13.00 shipping

Forum rules are policed by IB, membership is REQUIRED for posting items for sale... it was in the terms of use when you signed up, and is posted as a sticky to the top of each forum "read BEFORE posting"..

I don't need a new WG, but someone might see it and need one before IB deletes the thread... unless you become a member, then you can post FS, unless they feel you are a business, then they will require a sponsorship... RL rules.. I don't make em up...

https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...e-posting.html

"To be clear, Rennlist would not exist except for paying Sponsors and Members - and they, along with us - feel it is unfair that they subsidize non-Sponsor sales and marketing efforts, often times with competing products with Rennlist Sponsors. In short, if you are not a Sponsor, the Rennlist Charter prohibits commercial posts to the Forums.

What is commercial solicitation? For example...

If you post We/our/my company has... - you are selling something....
If you post We/our/my product is... - you are selling something....
If you post We/our/my customers'... - you are selling something....
If you post We/our/my will be announcing... - you are selling something....
If you post We/our/my test results for our... - you are selling something....
If you post We/our/my can make or supply that... - you are selling something....

If you/your company/product would like to have your unaffiliated/unbiased customers talk about your product - they are more than welcome to do so. However, as a commercial vendor with a sales intent - you are not.

Further, you are more then welcome to participate simply as an individual enthusiast - BUT NOT as a vendor/sales agent with a sales agenda. As well - a "Rennlist Member" does not broker you being a "Rennlist Sponsor" and acting as such, no more than being a Member of a car club entitles you to receive a free commercial full-page color advertisement in their monthly publication."

and

"If you want to post model-related items or cars for sale here, or request parts or cars wanted to buy or trade, you MUST be a paid Rennlist Member. "

My bad...thanks for the heads-up.

I obviously can't read or retain printed information.

what is the definition of "rebuilding"

Is valve job/seat machined?
Is the valve guide replaced/checked?
Is diaphragm replaced?
Is spring replaced? if not replaced how is the spring pressure checked?

Definition of rebuilt:

• Valve guide checked for wear
• Valve seal lapped (originally all 8 leaked b-4 lapping, I assume due to
age...something I believe everyone could benefit from )
• Diaphragm cleaned, inspected for cracks and reused if good
• Spring replaced with a stiffer rate
• Valve body and parts blasted, mildly ported for air flow, Hi-Temp painted
and baked

As initially stated: send me a PM with E-Mail address and I will send you a write-up with pictures on the rebuild

What was used for a diaphragm if it didn't test good?
