ECHFS158 as listed in the writeup from Vitesse is no longer the part number for the low profile temp sensor. Anyone have the part number or oem application of the low profile temp sensor. I need to get this car running before 3pm.

I broke the wire coming out of my temp sensor and tried soldering it back on, but since it is right at the base it just breaks every time I try to plug it in. Right now I have the temp sensor with no wire plugged in so I could check for leaks and pull it in and out of the garage. Is this safe?

Right click on your part number, copy/paste it in the search box on Napa online. Check the nonspecific car button and the part came right up. Thats how I searched it for you.

I bought one not so long ago at Napa, using that part number. Their website is not so great -- it's obsessed with getting your zip code -- but I was able to find it just now. See if this link works.
