the 928 is more of a touring car i wonder if their backseat has a little more room. I'm just happy the option is there in case one of my friends is stranded, even if it is uncomfortable!

I don't give answers to demanding ******. Find out for yourself, I'm not here to prove anything to you.
If you were less of a dick, I'd be more inclined to post a pic.

OK, I'll make a deal... you tell me how you got a bass drum and floor tom into a 944, and I'll tell you how to get a baby grand piano and a pygmy elephant to fit (along with the cast of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves").

Alright, a much easier post to respond to.
Basically, remove hatch carpeting and the top of the rear seat. Fit anything/everything possible in the cubbies/spare tire well (not much for the drums other than the snare stand, throne, pedals if taken apart)
Then we take the skins off the drums and put what we can inside inside the bass drum - kinda like those russian dolls... at least a tom and the snare drum The floor tom is a PITA, but it is not a large one.
The filled bass drum - again, not a large one squeezes in with no room to spare as forward in the hatch as can go sitting on its face. The other tom can squeeze in between the driver seat/passenger/ everything else. Obviously the cymbals and stands are not hard to find a home for with the skins off of the drums. With the other stuff in the car the passenger has something on the floor in front of em.
Usually there is a van for this, but more than once my or my friends 944 has been tasked to transport drums. Is it a PITA? Yes, but it's possible. Also, I seem to recall a picture on rennlist years ago where another drummer/ 944'er was able to fit a rather impressive set into his 944 and had pics posted of it.
Next time I have to load them in, I'll take a picture.

When I first read the title, I thought it said "Have you ever put it in the back of a grown adult"
I know 4 tires, a case of oil and filter, 2 hard hats, coveralls, and some other small misc junk will all fit into the hatch.

Very cool, man. I'll try this with the export kit just for fun (although I suspect it may be a bit bigger than your kit.) I'll let you know how I go. If I offended you my apologies -- my comments were meant to be more incredulous than aggressive, but that can hard to read in a post. In any case, a pic would be cool! Thanks for sharing. I'll work on the pic of the baby grand et al. Take care!
