Default Oil pressure sensor wiring hookup

How do I know If I hooked my oil pressure sender up right? It seems to be working fine right now , reading 5 bar.

IIRC if it is wired wrong it will peg at max. I don't have mine hooked up right now and my gauge reads 5 all the time.

^ correct.

When you turn on the ignition (but not start the engine) the gauge will either go to 0, or it will peg above 5.

Ok, so mine goes to zero when I turn the ignition and once started it goes right to 5 so I guess its right.
