997 Carrera S brakes on 87 turbo ?
Hello!
I have the possibility to buy these 997 Carrera S brakes, front and rear.
My chassi is 87 turbo.
FRONT:
For the front itīs required using adapter changing from axiell to radial mount, correct?
But from is it bolt on?
And what about the rotors? These are 330 x 34 mm rotors. Are these bolt on too?
REAR:
Can I use the rear calipers here aswell? If yes, with what modifications?
Cheers
Stephan

Most of the adapters are specifically made for the different calipers. The leg work has already been done for the 996TT and earlier calipers. You may want to check the bolt pattern against one of the caliper sizes that has already been adapted. Let us know your progress.
I am presently using the 330 mm rotors on my car. Just be aware 18" wheels will be about the smallest wheel you will be able to put on your car, depending on manufacturer you maybr able to squeeze a 17" wheel.

Suitable adapter kits are available quite close to you. Similar conversion is already done in Finland and adapters are available also here. I have put some info of these on Swedish forum few years ago.
EDIT. Quite old thread.
