Default Another Wheel Offset Question - Oz Alleggerita HLT

Thinking about getting some Oz Alleggerita HLT 18 inch wheels for the S2.

Planning on 8.5" front and 10" rear with 235F and 265R tyres. The 8.5s come in an ET53 which I guess would fit fine. The rear 10s come in ET40 and ET65. The ET40 would extend out another 25mm which may make clearance a bit tight. The ET65 would leave the outside position the same (as my current 17x9s), but move the inside wheel edge in 25mm.

The 968 Turbo S ran 18x10s in the rear, does anyone know what offset wheels were used?

Has anyone used ET40 or ET65 10 inch rear wheels?

ET 65 10 is a popular rear wheel. I run 285 Hoosiers and 8mm spacers so net ET56. I have also run 285 on an ET45 10" wheel, and they rub on the outside but not bad.
The avatar is the 10" et 65 with 8mm spacers

I actually managed to get the same wheel/tire up front with a 6mm spacer with a very slight rub on the fender liner.

I use 63mm offset in the rears but with 11s so with 65 ET and 275-285 on 10 in wide would be no problem.

i have 65's and 40 here .. the 65's have been on the back with no tires and they look good to me but i have messed with my rear end alot so it doesn't change toe or camber much at all .
remeber you can space wheel offsets down only .. so get the 65's and they will probably fit ..if not can choose a 275 tire instead of 285 and you can perhaps add a 5mm spacer ..

Yes, Adam's right. The Enkei NT03. Cheap, strong, and light. The only drawback is that they don't make them any wider than 10" for our cars. Not sure why not. If you're going to make some with the 5x130 bolt pattern why would you miss out on all the rear engine cars that run 11"+ wheels?

$425US is a great price. Bring them over 2 at a time and avoid import duty / GST etc.

FWIW, the Oz Alleggerita's are around £1,300 per set + about £120 delivery = AU$2,350 (+tax +duty).

I have never really found out that one. Maybe you put the Nitrogen in while the Oxygen's coming out...or measuring pressure with one gauge while inflating with the other valve....in other words, I don't know....but they look racy!

That's a pretty good price. I'd like to see just how much you pay in full to have them on your car after all is said and done. Got a pic of them on a 944?
