I drove the car on a 2 hour trip within the same 80 mph to 90 mph last weekend and oil consumption was near zero. On a few occasions I ran up to 10 psi boost.

i did make one observation, I get exhaust smoke at 17 psi in 3rd, 4th and 5th. I get no smoke at 12 psi in 6th. The wideband shows 11.7 to 12.3 in all gears while the car is under boost. It runs solidly at 14.6 off-boost.

Any theories?
Understood. But nothing like track conditions like some are comparing re: oil consumption.

Also, you have to be careful what you post on a public forum. It would be dangerous for a poster to claim that he or she fragrantly violated the law.

During the high oil consumption period, I drove the card very hard. I will leave it at that.

I would still like to solve this mystery. I am having trouble visualizing why the car's behavior would change under different boost levels and perhaps gears (smoke). I am still not convinced that I have a problem. The car is running great.
