Default Battery Cables from Robby = Excellent

Just some feedback - I had to replace the battery cables on 'blacky' due to a severe short in the main positive heading for the starter. I purchased a kit from "Robby" on the board and the whole kit is fantastic. Robby really goes the extra mile with it and includes all the little fittings/etc to complete the job as well. Bravo !

+1000000 for Robby...pleasure to work with and great quality. I just need to find some time to run my positive cables...I need to swap out my starter for the one I bought at the group buy a few months back at the same time and haven't had the time...

He is very honest, and a pleasure to deal with. He really stepped up to fill big shoes.

How much are these kits? I have the engine out and now would be a good time to do it.

Best way to reach him is to drop him a PM. He's the only "Robby" in the book. And highly recommended.

Great guy and great products- I got the whole thing for my 968s and it resolved a tone of issues I was having with one of them, the 2nd was just precautionary.

Hey guys this will be quick- for some reason, when posting here, I have to keep signing in over & over- it cuts me off & I lose my message- have spent the last 30 min trying to post this- this new, POS Toshiba Satellite doesn't help matters either & hopefully, w/another new comp, I can get back to posting here more often b/c I love the place & the people!!!

Anyway, you guys are way too cool!!! Thanks for all of the great compliments. I've tried hard to keep the quality UP & bring the costs DOWN- prices are down 20% from Dan's final prices, so I think he would be pleased- the only changes made, being customer requests, like, less-baggy ExFlex, etc- more sizes nowdays makes it easier & cheaper at same time.

Cost for a complete kit is now $280- includes S&H, anywhere in cont US- this means $270 + S&H anywhere else. The complete kit includes:

One 1awg main [+] battery to starter (EF)
One 4awg main [+] alternator to starter (EF/F)
One 4awg supplemental [+] from battery to fuse box (EF/F)
One 1awg (2-pc) main [-] battery to ground- (EF on longer)
One 4awg supplemental ground (EF)
Miscellaneous Hardware, etc...

EF = cable is covered w/ExFlex
F = fuse
The main cables that attach at battery have new military spec clamps...

I'm glad to do partial kits too or just negatives or single cables, etc- just let me know what you want / need- can also do some custom sizes if needed...

pa944red - no website yet, but hoping to do one soon. Dan did these b/c of underhood fires that were caused by poor insulation (well, after ~20yrs...).

curtp- now would be a good time- getting to the alternator is the toughest part of hte job & would be easier to install as you put engine back in, etc...

thanks a lot guys. e-mail me or PM or ask here, etc- Choinga has the right addy :-)
