Default Turbo Pistons

I'm in the process of building a turbo motor and have two sets of pistons. I picked up these pistons a few years but they have some damage, one piston has scoring you can catch with your finger nail. Can these pistons be used with this kind of damage? Can pistons be mixed and matched (pistons from different motors) or do they have to be a matched set?

PIstons can be mixed and matched from sets but I believe there were 2 differnt piston manufacturers. You should pick the 4 pistons that are in the best shape and spec out the best compared to your bores.

I checked my other set of pistons and they are all in spec, the only thing that worries me is where the skirt coating is worn. Below is a picture of on of the pistons skirts, the other three have the same wear. Is it OK to use these pistons or is there too little of the coating left to prevent cylinder damage?
