FOR SALE: Custom Front Mount Intercooler
I made this intercooler a while back at my work. The core is rated to 430hp. Its still allows you to retain the stock intercooler pipe placement. They way I mounted it, you do have to cut the middle section out of the aluminum bumper (about 24inches, or the length of the intercooler). However if you cut out the the center section between the 2 headlight buckets, you can mount the intercooler further back and not have to cut the aluminum bumper. it will also come with the silicone couplings and pipes that make it retain the factory IC pipe location.
Core dimensions are 3.5 x 9.5 x 19
Core Specs:
High flow rate : 970 CFM (with a pressure drop of 2.85 psi)
Pressure drop : 0.54 psi at 406 CFM
Pressure drop : 1.20 psi at 620 CFM
Operational Pressure : 0 to 55 psig
Peak Pressure : 74 psig
Inlet : 2.5 inch (64 mm)
Outlet : 2.5 inch (64 mm)

here is a pic after i built it. And as far as gains over stock, I noticed a huge difference. Keep in mind I am fabricator at a performance shop and we have a dyno. So with the stock intercooler I made 335whp at 20psi. With the front mount I made 340whp at 16psi.
...and I live in Austin.
