Exclamation HELP....again...

But this time on my race car. While hooking up the power perfect and fiddling with it, somehow it got shorted and burned up the ground wire going to the #6 pin in the DME plug and fried the DME. We have replaced the DME, along with the ground wire, and the car just won't start. It tries to fire, but won't. Also, instead of only one green light showing up when the power perfect has power, all of them show up and are flickering. What else could be a problem here? Is it possible that the chip could be fried? I took the one out of the old DME and put it in the new one.... Anybody with more knowledge about the power perfect and DME please help.

Pin 6 of the DME is the air flow sensor, not ground. It also sounds like the SMT6 was damaged. Does it still communicate with a computer?

It does now. We noticed that some ignition wires had gotten melted together somehow. We separated them and replaced the DME, but we think our relay is fried.
