well interesting some of those ceramic coatings can be done with regular powder coating set ups ..
perhaps powder coated from the starter motor back .. Bret was talking about aluminum for the back part.
If you are making your own stainless is the way to go ..
easy to get easy to weld no much more money..

Most ceramics are sprayed with HVLP guns like paint, but cured the same way as powdercoating.
