Default clutch fork lubricant

What do you use to lubricate the clutch fork? I was reading that the factory used a lubricant paste of some description to lube the bearings... any suggestions on something suitable?

I mean, seriously, why would the factory bother to use a paste if good ol' moly would do it?

I've never used anything else and I believe the paste stated in the factory manuals isn't available anymore.
Here's a quote from www.clarks-garage.com:
The shop manual calls for a coating of white solid lubricating paste (AOS 126 0006). However, it's my understanding that this paste tends to harden in the bearings and is no longer used. So, use the MoS2 grease instead.

OK. If the paste is obsolete, moly grease it is. At least it's easy!

Thanks for the info.

What do you suppose the red lubricant on the fork ends might be in this picture?

It actually looks like Redline CV-2 moly grease on that fork.

I'd guess Mobile 1 synthetic grease. The redline stuff is smoother looking from what I can see in the picture. Most inportantly, don't put too much on there -- nothing good comes from excess grease in and around the clutch -- somehow it always finds its way to the disk/flywheel. I would wipe off the stuff in the picture and just leave it a bit greasey to the touch, and do the same to the throw out lip, and be call it done. That approach worked fine on my current clutch...
