My 86 951 came stock with 2 piece x over fortunately. Im installing tial 38 with lindsey 3 inch. The elbow coming off x over to bottom of tial is loose. Cannot tighten or loosen 3 bolts. Rusted to badly. Will the elbow just slide off the x over if it allready twist around freely or do i need to cut the bolts out to get the elbow off?

The elbow will slide off the crossover pipe. If you are having trouble, it may be because the crush ring is binding against the crossover pipe and now allowing it to slide off.

Ok so maybe if its getting stuck beat on it a little bit to get it to slide off?
