Is this common or is something wrong? On cold start up, It will idle at 5 bar. When you are driving, it goes up because you are not at idle. Mine will go past 5 bar on the gauge to about 5.5 bar. When it warms up, the oil pressure is fine. I have also had some weird cases where when I go to start the car, I turn the key to the acc. setting(where gauge lights light up) and it will be a 5 bar until I start it and it then goes to zero until the motor builds oil pressure which will put the gauge at 5 bar. Then I drive it
Anybody else have the 5+ bar thing? Could it be the wire connections at the oprv? Could the oil pressure gauge be off a little?

Mine has been that way for a year at leased .. It is a worry that it sometimes starts to bump up and down trying to go higher .. I will replace the sender soon as i had similar experience with the NA
