Default Turbo seals

Hey guys...I cannot for the life of me find any info on how tight to tighten the turbo water pipe and auxillary hose connection fitting with the crush washer seals. Can someone enlighten me on how tight they should be?
Thanks in advance for your assistance..

ok i understand what you are asking. i have been wrenching for over 10 years so i know but around 10-15 ft/lbs. snug the fitting then go 45 degrees so it compresses the washers a little.

Hey sypder348, got the turbo back from Durabilt, really FUBAR'd that one... a small fortune later it's going back in.

Thanks for the info. 10-15/lbs. is a sizable range?? I know you don't want to over tighten, but certainly don't want any leaks either.

try snug and 1/4 turn like manifold allen head bolts tight. under the hood im all wrapped up thanks for the pipe. what was that thing very nice metal could cut and bend it lots of times and would not crimp or become weak. it worked thanks. still using stock temp sensor.

Awesome, glad it worked for you.

Got the turbo in tonight and hopefully get everything else in by the weekend and fire her up. I'm starting to have no boost withdrawals.

good luck. i found it best to bolt up coolant pipe on the side with temp sensor after manifold is on.
