Default Pauer Tuning/ Wastegates

I am thinking of ordering a Tial wastegate with flange and bolt kit from Pauer tuning. At 340 dollers it seems like the best deal around. Are there any other better deals? Any issues with Pauer tuning? Thanks!

Think there is a group buy going on here lately for plates in the $70 range? Bought some from SFR for I think $99 awhile back. Used Tials should not be that hard to find in the $100-150 range. (I'm cheap).

I bought my Tial from them a long time ago and found them to be straight to work with and no issues.

I bought the Tial with plates from them too and had no issues. I would do business with them again.

used ones are harder to find then you think. I have been looking for about 2 months, with no luck except for ones priced very closely to that of a new one. Bout to bite the bullet and just order the kit from Pauer myself.

Got lucky, bought one from a Honda guy that was parting out his toy. Had a few springs so chose a 7# and adding a Lindsey MBC. Think about a $C orso.

I bought both my Tial w/adapters and Garrett DBB turbo from Pauer Tuning. I also like the safety wired bolts, a great option. We talked quite a bit on the phone concerning the best turbo option and he was always helpful. Vic is a good guy to do business with.

Considered ordering a kit from Pauer though my original wastegate and mbc hits 18 psi and holds it to 6k (external boost gauge) so I'm wondering if the Tial is going to be much better ?.

I was the one doing the group buy with some adapters I designed. Never got enough people to commit so I only made them for myself. I went with a JGS 40mm wastegate and although I haven't used it yet I like it better than Tials I've had in the past. They are very popular in the Nissan world and come up pretty cheap used. Beware of knockoff Tials if you are buying used or on ebay.

If your stock wastegate is holding fine in your opinion then you may not feel the need to change it. Pauer's kit is very, very nice. I snagged a new unused kit off another RLer on here but it isn't on the car yet; it looks very nice and for the price you can't do much better without going used.

You may get slightly better spool up with a tial just because the spring isn't as tired and if hooked up in DP it has a force acting on the other side of the diaphragm keeping it shut until your desired boost threshold. If it's not rolling off up high and it's working to your satisfaction I'd leave it alone.

Did not notice a difference between stock wg (50,000mi) and tial 32mm/mbc.
