Personally I'd have gone for one of the metallic grey colors, but I'm happy with my Alpine / Can Can

I'd be more shocked about spending $49,895 on a new car (the window sticker of my Silver Rose).

Being a pretty limited edition car, I have a hunch you got whatever color the dealer had on hand...

If i was in a position to buy a new silver rose in 1988 i would have kept my head down saved my money and retired by now
