Lightbulb solenoid at end of throttle cable making noise at idle?

Sounds like ticking or pinging coming out of the solenoid at the end of the throttle cable. Any other ideas?

*Cruise control unit (thanks tom)

TIA!

You should have a click from the throttle position sensor (opposite side of throttle body from the throttle cable) at less than 7deg of throttle plate movement.

Is this what you were talking about? Black thing seen on backside of throttle body in pic..

Maybe you mean the cruise control unit over by the battery?
