I also have the solid tranny mount and it is about putting down hp. The tranny mount and suspension was not designed for the torque that is put down in corners. With the movement from the tranny and the movement in the suspension in a high powered corner you can place your cv joint in a bind (ask me how I know). With a solid tranny mount you are takiing out some of the movement.

As far as shifting goes I have had no problems with shifting. These things shift like a truck any way.
