No one ever believes me when I tell them this, but the nose panel vents do more harm than good on a 951. I've done fluids modeling on it and it causes a vacuum lock in front of the intercooler, but the folks that sell them still seem to do a bang up business. My comments don't apply to the Lindseys unit that has the extended lip, as I haven't modelled that one (nor am I inclined to go through the hassle).
If you want to do something to help your car, put a relief vent behind the intercooler (ala 968 Turbo RS). The Naca duct on the 924 Turbohood fed straight into the intercooler, so it made sense for that car. It has no value on a 951 unless your cruise control servo runs hot. lol

I've also heard from many sources the ducts on the header panel do more harm than good, but they look so cool. Although, they look better on the 924/944 stock bumper set up than on 944 Turbo. Plus, to make the 931 ducts work on a 944 Turbo nose you have to graft them onto a stock Turbo header panel, other wise you have a gap where the header panel meets the bumper panel. It can be done but is a lot of work. The 931 hood looks great on any 924/944 series car. Only issue I had with mine was where the wiper blades rubbed on the inside of the hood, so I just bent down small tabs to make the clearance.

Naca ducts DO look cool. If for no other reason, putting one on the hood in a asymetrical spot is pure sex, imo.
