Yippeee!!!! I can't wait! The driver has already called me with a schedule update. So far Intercity has been 1st class.
Matt, it's truly been a pleasure and I'm very excited to get this car "back" in my garage after test driving it 3 years ago.

Nice! Wheels look great as mentioned. A few sleepless nights now.

oddly, an Intercity truck, with a red 951 howed up tonight, in the rain. We both felt that it would be dangerous to continue transport in this dangerous weather, so he left it with me.
Are you looking for a car, Doc?

Doc,
Would you mind posting the cost to ship using Intercity? I live in MI & have been looking for 993's on the west side; which would necessitate using a shipping company.
Please PM me if you would rather not post.
Thanks

Hehe, back off guys, she's mine! I've been waiting three years for this car. It was a local enthusiasts car for a long time, he put it up for sale three years ago, I drove it and was going to buy it until I found I had a tax bill coming, ironically for the same amount as the car.
I reluctantly passed on it and TedWright bought it, then sold it to Matt. Things have come fill circle now and I'm very pleased to be parking it in my garage!
I looked into several car shippers, uShip.com seems good, several companies will bid on the shipment. I eventually went with InterCity because of all the good things say about them, the extra care they take with the cars (they're wrapped and covered inside the truck) and it's enclosed. Communication so far has been great, the driver called me after he picked up the car and he should call me again on Tuesday.
They gave me a Rennlist discount and it cost around $1150 from Michigan to me here in Colorado. The open carrier transports were maybe $400 less. If it'd be summer I might have done an open carrier, but not in the winter...
