Default About to purchase a cayenne turbo and wanted to see your input....with pictures

Just went down to the dealer and put a deposit on the car for $39,800

I wanted to know pretty much if you guys think this is a good deal or not. Also what reliability issues I will be look at in the long run after the warranty expires.
It is Porsche certified for 2 years / 50,000 miles and I will be putting around 12,000 on it a year.

Honestly the car is in amazing shape. The seats look as though they are from a car with 10,000 miles on it and the paint is perfect not one single scratch. Brakes were all redone / and 60,000 mile service was just performed (he showed me all the paperwork).

Also another question I had was about the turbo and how long they last? Also how much for replacement?

here is the link and I really do appreciate any comments:

have any of you heard of someone pulling the engine on these? I have pulled my 951s but not sure if I could tackle this what do you think?

I think you did a good job on the color choice.

I just purchased an 04 turbo with 58k on the clock cpo'd for 33k, With the cpo you should be good check that the coolant hoses have been upgraded, as well as the coil packs. Milk that cpo for all it's worth!. Great looking car and if you prefer black let me know I'll trade Ya.

I have been reseraching them a lot. Considering getting rid of my 08 Wrangler Unimited and picking up a CTT.

So far all I really see is coolant pipes, coils, some mention of a TC seal but rare. Most of the stuff I have been reading is whiny stuff.

*Should* be a pretty solid platform.

Got to drive my brother in law's over the holidays. Very nice ride - really wish I could get wifey to let go of the minivan and buy into one. Forget the version he has - it's fully loaded and sticker was ~$120K (he got it used for less than half and even used included life membership to PCA, lifetime Sirrus radio, etc.).

Funny you guys mention the cooling hoses, because he was begging me to push it hard (he's an ex-951 owner and of course knows I have one, and now has a Viper), so I did. Shortly after I could smell coolant and asked him about it. We pulled into a gas station and it was leaking fairly badly. This all happenned here in SoCal and they came down from NoCal. They had to delay their trip back home for a day while they found a Porsche dealer to take care of things...

Chris, trust me when I say test drive a touareg v10-tdi before buying a cayenne turbo.

it can tow a 747 and my bro gets 25+mpg!!! I like the interior on the touareg more too but thats personal preference.

i'd say you should be fine with the cpo warranty. I'm crazy about your curent setup on your turbo!
